Regarding COVID-19

Due to COVID-19, a few courses and programmes are given on campus (with certain digital elements) this spring, while quite many are given as distance education. Information about what applies to your course or programme can be found in the Student Portal via the Search tool.

Keep yourself updated at the University's page 'FAQ: Courses and classes'.

To help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, many courses and lectures are given online via Zoom. Moreover, many of our support functions have cancelled their physical meetings and switched to online (or telephone) meetings. Therefore, it is important that you get a Zoom account at Uppsala University. Read more about Zoom.

Install Zoom and test your device

Uppsala University uses the video meeting service Zoom to meet digitally. Zoom can be used both for activities organised by teachers and collaborations between students. You can download Zoom to your computer, tablet or phone and you log in with your student account. It is possible to start Zoom meetings both through the Zoom software and via Studium (Canvas), i e our learning managament system.

Make sure you have the technical equipment needed to use Zoom. When you install the programme, you can test the audio and video on your device. Read more on the page 'Zoom for students'.
