Students hosts wanted
We are currently looking for students to work on the reception desk on a rolling schedule between 14:30-16:30, Monday to Thursday. In addition to these regular shifts, you may be asked to provide cover as and when required, primarily during any evening or weekend events. Examples of reception duties include:
- Assisting visitors/students/staff
- Administering access cards (the Campus cards)
- Assisting in changing passwords
- Handling lost property
- Booking group rooms for students
- Lending equipment (e.g. laptops or projectors)
- Returning corrected examination papers
- Selling promotional products and printing vouchers.
Who are you?
As a student host, you will be a responsible and positive individual who enjoys helping others and meeting new people. Among other duties, you will be assisting visitors to find their way around campus and answering any questions that may arise. It is an advantage if you are social, receptive, service-minded and solution-oriented. Other useful attributes include a reasonable amount of patience and the ability to deal with the occasional unexpected situation. Finally, you should have a good level in written and spoken English or Swedish.

The reception desk is located on the ground floor of the main building. It is open Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 15:30 (other times during the summer). You will also find Student Services and IT support in the reception.
