Closing Ceremony at Campus Gotland 2 June 2023
Welcome to the annual Closing Ceremony for students who are finishing their studies at Uppsala University – Campus Gotland! This is an opportunity for us to say thank you for attending Uppsala University and wish you the best for the future.
This summer, you will complete your studies here at Uppsala University – Campus Gotland.
Therefore, we would like to invite you to attend our Closing ceremony where we can congratulate you and wish you well for the future!
During the ceremony at Wisby Strand, we offer drinks and snacks, music, speech from advisor of the Vice-Chancellor Olle Jansson, representatives from Region Gotland (the municipality) and the Student Union Rindi.
Furthermore, Gotland's student union Rindi will announce the Teacher of the Year.
When: Friday 2 June, 16:00-17:30
Where: Wisby strand
Application: In the end of March 2023, we sent an invitation via email with a sign-up link to all students who are finishing their studies at the university this spring. Please check your email, even the spambox. If you don't find the invitation, please contact Yvonne Näsman via email: email@example.com.

PS. You don't need to have received your degree in order to attend the ceremony as this is not a formal graduation ceremony. Read about degrees.
PPS. Individual study programmes may also arrange summer closing activities for their students. Naturally, students are welcome to participate in both.

After you have completed your studies you should apply for a degree. With a degree qualification from Uppsala University you will be well-equipped for professional life on the Swedish and international arena.
